What Causes Pain In The Legs?

I have been experiencing some leg pain (in left leg) for maybe 7 - 10 days. On Thursday this week, I seemed to start limping. I have tried soaking at night in a hot bath. I may not be stretching much before long walks. I have had issues before w/taking Cholesterol meds. I was off those for a time & have a different med.& have taken it maybe 4 xs a week more recently. (I have discontinued it when I started having this pain). I do stand on my job quite a bit. I hope to rest w/feet up on my day off & see how it goes. Not sure at what point I should see my Doctor. Hello,

Leg pain unilateral can be due to ischaemic pain.

Clinically peripheral pulses in the lower limb should be assessed and ankle-brachial index (Doppler) should be done to exclude Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD),in view of your hypercholesterolaemia.

Prolonged standing at work-place may cause also varicose veins in lower limbs and worsens ischemic pain. Initially you should see a primary level doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
