Hello,
Pain in the upper left arm can be due to
bursitis, pinched nerve, injury or sprain,
cervical spondylitis or
arthritis. But pain in the left arm is a clear indication of some developing coronary artery disease.
Other symptoms can be shortening of breath, unusual discomfort in the neck or jaw as the disease advances. Avoid oily spicy food, take berries, fruits & veggies, do regular exercises, take adequate rest & avoid stress & anxiety.
Visit ER, get investigations, CBC,
Urinalysis, Lipid function tests, ECG,
Echocardiography, X-ray, CT & MRI done to rule out the developing pathology if any. Get treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
