What Causes Pain In The Left Forearm?

So yesterday I did a little gardening work and I normally don t do stuff like that because I m disabled but I had a nerve block on my neck so l felt good enough for that I thought. So after that my left forearm hurt about 4 above my wrist I thought maybe I was hurt a muscle so this morning I wake up and there s a lump at that same spot and I can t move my fingers barely there is a vein that runs through that area I was thinking it was a blood clot should I go to the emergency room I m sure they re tired of me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As you have pain and unable to move fingers, so it may not be due to gardening. Kindly consult with surgeon, you may require color dropper and X-ray hand to rule out any other possibilities. Along with that continue Physiotherapy as advised.

You may require EMG-NCV test to rule out any neuropathy issues. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
