What Causes Pain In The Knee Cap After Knee Replacement?

I had both of my knees replaced last year. January and June. I ve tried to get my point across but so far, no luck. My knees don t hurt at the joint . . . how could they. My knees hurt in the knee cap. a point at the posterior (back of the knee cap) is very sensitive to the touch. Any ideas about how that ligament connecting at the back of my knee cap can be so painful??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Initially some pain and uncomfortable feeling can be there in patella. It will wear off gradually. If it is more then consult your orthopedician.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
