What Causes Pain In The Jaw After A Head Injury?

I was punched ( by a grown man 2 1/2 times my size ) in the head , right side , by temple and towads the back of my ear . This was 2 days ago. I have had a Severe headache since, ice pack and ibuprofen hasn t helped at all. ( I used to get migraines when I was younger , this is not a headache pain like that. Its almost worse, except I can deal with noise ) It is even hard to try and sleep, because if you even barely touch that whole area the pain is so bad it wakes me immediately ( even from a dead sleep ) I was Not hit in my jaw or any where else. But my jaw hurts ( same side starts at the bottom of ear lobe to right before my chin, but its like it directly on the jaw line . Should I go into immediate care in the mourning?
