I have puzzling symptoms of pain in the left hip, foot swelling (dorsum), mostly on the left but also on the right. My hemorrhoids seem worse when I have this pain. Don t know what that is about. Also, I have now developed a feeling of not being able to swallow correctly. The stinging/burning sensation is occurring high up in what I guess would be the epiglottic area. Sometimes I am regurgitating food because it seems so dry in the area that it won t go down. I have had chronic constipation most of my life. I have been taking Linzess for the past 3 years or so. It doesn t work as well as it did in the beginning. I take it approximately once every three days. Again, there must be a dryness in the colon which causes stool to not move along. Not sure how any of these symptoms are related to each other. Also, I recently saw a doctor and had blood tests and an echocardiogram performed. I have mild to moderate mitral regurgitation. My hemoglobin level, though, was 8.0, and the report said I had anemia.
