Since last week my groin area has been bothering me. No more hitting golf balls until I see if rest will take care of situation. Thanks!!!!!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

Pain in unilateral groin area if it is dull type and constant may be due to inguinal hernia.
Is there any history of chronic cough?
If the pain was brought on by increased activity and relieved by taking rest,it can be due to problems in muscles or joints.

If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Tab.ibuprofen/acetaminophen half twice a day with antacid
-Local warm compress may give some relief.

If still pain persists beyond 2 days,
Further physical examination is necessary by surgeon/orthopaedician.

Hope this information helps.
Thanks
