What Causes Pain In The Chest Area And Sore Throat?
My daughter is complaining of pains in her heart when she coughs, and a sore throat when she swallows and she has fever. The fever just came on in the last few hours. My concern is are these symptoms of the flu or meningitis? How do I tell the difference?

It could be a pharyngitis, otherwise called strep throat.
Consult a general practitioner and start on antibiotics.
Nothing much to worry as the condition improve with timely antibiotics.
