What Causes Pain In The Chest And Excessive Sweating?

I am sitting at the computer in the library, very cool and I start to sweat like crazy with pain in the center of my chest. I had 2 heart attacks in 2003 and 3-4 episodes of chest pains this year. Went to my doctor first of the month and EKG ran and it was normal. Could this be pleurisy because I had this many years ago. The pain has left after I took my Bayer 81mg and done some deep breaths.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, I don't think it is pleurisy.
In my opinion, we should definitely rule out cardiac pain as you are also having sweating along with chest pain.
So consult cardiologist and get done ecg, 2d echo and stress test (trade mill test).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for cardiac chest pain.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
