What Causes Pain In The Calf After A Knee Injury?

My husband fell and injured his knee approximately 2 weeks ago. He went to emergency and they recommended an mri. He is having the mri tomorrow, but, now he is complaining of pain the calf of the same leg. He is heart patient, as well as diabetes. He is on 15 different medications, including blood thinners. Should we go to emergency again

may be fracture or torn ligament. MRI or xray can be taken. get examined by orthopaedic surgeon. take kneecap and and rest to joint. can apply analgesic ointment andoraly hifenac tablet.afterm getting the result option of surgery can be decided.
