Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Knee After An Injury

In case of acute knee injury (swollen & possibly broken ligament) - which is wise thing to do - Put a Plaster on knee and wait for 3 week for swelling to go - then do MRI? - Knee Aspiration - which causes swelling to go in 1 week with proper rest - then do MRI? or anything else

he will let you know the right course.
plaster has to be put and then mri should be done.
but dont do it by yourself without the doctors advice
