What Causes Pain In The Breast While Coughing And Breathing?

I have been having pain in my right breast area since last Friday. It was worse when lie flat and I can t lay on my right side. Also, I have a allergy cough and the pain hurts more when I cough....could it be pneumonia. It also hurts when I take a deep breath.

Hi, Pain in your right chest wall when you cough and on lying to that side can be either of two things

1. It can be pneumonia with pus collection .
2.Muscle spasm

Chest X-ray and blood counts will help in differentiating. I recommend you visit emergency services immediately.
