General & Family Physician 's  Response

Suggestive of systemic manifestations of strep infection.

As it may turn out to be multi-organ involvement, she requires immediate coverage with broad-spectrum antibiotics to avoid chances of heart valves involvement threating for myositis or endocarditis development.

I woke up with poor circulatory pains in my arm and leg two days ago that subsided after an hour or so. Today I woke up with swollen ankles and leg pain. I do not have a history of high blood pressure or any other health condition other than asthma. What could these issues be symptoms of?

My ankle has been swollen for more than 3 weeks. The area that s swollen is a bit lighter than my actual skin tone on my leg/foot. For the most part I have no pain. I m able to walk on it and all of that. I ve had a few feelings of pain in the shin area and foot but it s not too bad. I m not aware of any injury so I m not sure why my ankle is swollen

Hello. I have been experiencing bad pain (from 5 to 8 on a scale of 10) for the past month or so. The pain is from what seems to be a swollen epiditdymus asee well as the cord that connects my left testicle to my body. There is a spot along that cord that is hard like a stale gummy bear and about the size of a cheerio. That area radiates pain from my scrotum to my lower abdomen and down the front of my leg. I am going to a urologist later in the week but I wanted to ask what questions I should ask him as well as how to manage the pain in the meantime. It has gotten to the point now where I need to ice my groin while I drive.
