What Causes Pain In Right Side Of Head With Blood In White Part Of Eye?

My father is 89 yrs. old, Christmas eve he had a bad pain in the right side of his head, now we have noticed that there is blood in the white part of his right eye, and it's a pretty big spot. what could cause that?Sorry I can't pay for this, don't have a credit card. Thanks anyway.

Your father is suffering from bleeding in the white portion of the eye which is known as sub conjunctival haemorrhage.
Subconjunctival haemorrhage has so many causes like persistent coughing and sneezing, straining and vomiting, trauma or bleeding disorders.
But considering his age and the main complaint of severe headache on his right side his blood pressure should be checked. Since high blood pressure may cause bleeding in the white portion of the eye.
