What Causes Pain In Right Shoulder And Arm, Headache And High BP?

Hi, A friend of mine just had an episode wherein she was experiencing a a headache on the back of her head, as well as pain in her right shoulder and arm, also blood pressure 191/133. She does have high blood pressure and has medication for it. She was scared she was having a stroke. It seemed to me more likely a heart attack? She would not go to the ER and the symptoms have subsided.

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that very high blood pressure and arm pain can be due to heart attack. Kindly get a basic cardiac evaluation done which includes ecg and echocardiography and consult a cardiologist for further treatment.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
