General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Looking to the history if you are elderly then this pain might be due to degenerative changes in your hip and lower vertebrae producing stiffness and sciatica pain.
Go for x-ray hip joint and lumbo-sacral region to find having any osteo-artheritis changes.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get investigated.
Take Calcium, vitamin D3 and mutivitamin supplements.
go for physiotherapy and short way diathermy.
Ok and take care.
