My right knee hurts when straightening my leg. This happens mostly at night with the pain being so bad I sometimes have to use my left leg to help straighten my right one. Also I have had so many muscle spasms in my right calf I now feel like it is there all the time. This is the same leg that I broke my ankle (tibula and fibula) requiring a plate and 11 screws about 5 years ago. I am a 54 yr. old male.
