Hi,

Pain in the lower abdomen can occur at the onset of your menstrual cycle, vaginal or pelvic infections. Any changes in your menstrual history such as irregular periods should be ruled out. Vaginal smear and pelvic ultrasound should be taken to rule out any abnormalities. Any history of burning sensation while urination can denote urinary tract infection and should be treated with antibiotics.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
