What Causes Pain In Intestine After Eating Something?

Hi there, I have been dealing with this for about 16 years or so and still no solution. I seem to get sick randomly after eating (about 15 or more minutes) and it never seems to be the same foods. I get rumbling and lots of gas and then severe pain in the lower left intestines---SEVERE!! It feels like someone is twisting my guts and I can hardly stand the pain. Then the vomiting starts--sometimes just a short while and sometimes hours and hours. When my bowels start to move (usually after a week or so of constipation) it will turn to diahrea and I will eventually feel better--but only after complete weakness and continued soreness in my tummy. Can you tell me what it might be? A couple of years ago I went to a specialist and after many, many tests she said, Well, I can t find anything other than a questionable gall bladder, so let s take it out , so she did. But I guess that wasn t the problem. Thanks for listening.

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic...

Noted you have repeated diarrhea and constipation....
History is since long duration...
So irritable bowel syndrome could be the cause.....

Fiber supplementation will be helpful...
Oats rich in thiamin , phosphurus , copper , zinc etc...so cooked oatmeal good for healthy GI health....

Fruits like kiwi, blueberries taken more....
While diarrhea probiotics can be taken...
Avoid stress and smoking....

Lubiprostobe like specific drug could be useful....

If still no benefit then colonoscopy done with subsequent biopsy for further work up.....

With keeping these in mind consult gastroentetologist....
