What Causes Pain In Head While Lying On Stomach And Lift The Head?

Why does my head hurt when I lay on my stomach and lift my head?? I can also hear my heart beat through my ears. Once u lay my head down the pain goes away slowly. Once I lift my head up the same pain instantly come. I feel tons of pressure and throbbing. What is it??

Hi,

Throbbing sensation in head, hearing heart beat in ears may due to increased pulse pressure (difference between systolic BP and diastolic BP) which may be due to hyper-dynamic circulation (severe anemia, thyroxicosis, AV malformation or fistula) and valvular heart disease like aortic regurgitation. You need a cardiovascular work-up, including 2-D echocardiography.
