What Causes Pain In Ear While Burping And Yawning?

HI doctor, I also have right ear pain when I burp, yaw really hard or have hiccups. I´ve already done a lot os test such as timpanometry, nasal endoscopy and impedance testing, everything is Great. Im i pilot and i dont have any disconfort with pressure changes, the only simptoms are pain and ocasionally an ear popping.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in ear while burping and yawning which could be due to ear infection. It could be due to accumulation of ear wax, foreign body penetration in ear, Eustachian tube dysfunction and it could be due to sinusitis. It could be due to temporomandibular joint dysfunctioning. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures. You should avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object. Maintain proper hygiene. Take proper rest. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure. You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine. Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done for proper examination.
