What Causes Pain In Clitoris?

Yes, Hi. I am experiencing a stinging in what feels like inside my clitoral hood. No visible external redness or other apparent symptoms. I think I felt it mildly in last week or so and more since yesterday; had increased intercourse and today discomfort is staying. I am vaguely remembering maybe once having something like this before. Possible bacterial infection or uti? Thank you

Hi
Greetings.
Clitoris is like Penis where in we can partly retract the skin backwards .So there can be some secretions beneath this skin which can get embedded and cause discomfort and pain.

So you can wash that area with some disinfectant like betadine solution and try to retract the skin by 0.5 to 1 cm backwards and clean any secretions.Later you can apply any antimicrobial ointment.
If no relief it is better to consult a gynaecologist.
hope my answer helps you. Regards
