it hard for me to breath through my nose.When I breath in deeply my chest hurts.if i bend down I can feel a pain in my throat and my chest.if I take a pain pill I feel nothing. I can tell when its time to take another one cause it start to hurt. if lay on my right side I feel the pain but if I lay on my left side nothing and I can also breath as normal.What can be the problem?
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. Chest pain on breathing is mostly due to pleurisy. Pleurisy means inflammation of pleura. This can be due to any of the following common causes. 1. Pneumonia 2. Tuberculosis 3. Pleural effusion 4. Pulmonary contusions etc. So better to get done chest x ray first. If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry much about it. It can be musculoskeletal pain mostly. So apply warm water pad on affected site. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant. Avoid strenuous exercise and heavyweight lifting. Don't worry, you will be alright.
