Hi

Pain near sternum may be caused due to two common reasons

- Gastric related
- Heart related

Gastric pains are very common cause for the retrosternal pain rather than heart causes

Main cause for gastric pain is gastritis or GERD (gastro oesophagial reflux disease - contents of stomach comes back to oesophagus resulting in pain)

Gastritis can be treated by following

- East less spicy food
- Add plenty of fruits and cooked vegetables to the diet
- drink tender coconut
- eat curds and drink butter milk daily
- do meditation atleast 21 minutes a day to relieve stress (as stress causes gastritis)
- do exercise for 30-45 minutes in a day for atelast 5-6 days a week

Get an ECG done to rule out any Heart problems

Wish You Good Health
