What Causes Pain In Ball Of Foot And Upper Arch While Walking?
I had mild pain in the ball of my foot and upper arch, and the top of my foot. Today while walking I made a quick jumping movement and the immediate pain on the bottom of my foot was excruciating. It feels like I tore something. What might be the problem?
Hello dear user, thanks for consulting Healthcaremagic and sharing your concerns, I thought you got a muscle damaged and joint distended I advice you to take non steroid anti-inflammatory/pain killers meds such as ibuprofen 2-3 times a day x10 days and vitamins supplements ( contain vitamins B ) apply ice-bad 3 times a day x 20-30 minutes fallowed by gentle massage with ice/ hot gel/cream 3 times a day. I recommend you limit your movements wearing a brace and comfortable shoes with silicone support, avoid the longstanding periods, if the symptoms still persist after 10-15 days a doctor should be consulted. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care Wishing you a good health Dr Tania Portelles-Driggs
