What Causes Pain In Back And Bottom Of Sternum?
I had a stabbing pain in the center of my back for about 2 minutes then a stabbing pain at the very bottom of my sternum that lasted for about 5 minutes. after that went away I tried to take a drink of liqed and the pain in my sternum happened again although it only lasted a few seconds what can it be

By description it looks like pancreas pain. Pancreas is a gland in the body that produces enzymes for the digestion of certain foods. Alcohol makes it worse. I suggest to follow up with your Gastroenterologist to find out the cause as he will probably do tests and a scan.
