What Causes Pain In Arm And Leg Along With Swollen Ankles?

I woke up with poor circulatory pains in my arm and leg two days ago that subsided after an hour or so. Today I woke up with swollen ankles and leg pain. I do not have a history of high blood pressure or any other health condition other than asthma. What could these issues be symptoms of?

Swelling in legs and ankles developing in a short time is most likely to be due to disturbed venous drainage from the lower limbs.
