What Causes Pain From The Groin Area To The Lower Leg?

I have had pain in my left leg that starts in the fold at the crotch area and can spread all the way to my knee or lower. It feels like a stretching pain. It s constant and non stop. It kind of feels muscular. When I bend the top part of my body 30 degrees or more to my left or forward and when I am sitting, the pain gets worst. It has been lasting for about 3 weeks now and the hospital simply told me it might be my sciatic nerve and not to worry about it, but they are not the ones in pain here. I have tried Ibuprofen for a week+ and it doesn t do crap. What the heck is this thing?

Hi

Please see a neurologist and go for whole spine screening MRI especially lumbar spine. This can be secondary to sciatica or bone degenerative change in the spine.
Take tab. Myospas Forte twice a day for pain.
If too severe go for physiotherapy but after MRI spine.

Hope I have answered your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
