What Causes Pain During Urination In Pregnancy?
I am pregnant (7weeks).For the last 3 days I have very strong smell of my urine,and some pain in urine canals.i took Azo test and it comes out very purple positive for leucocyte and negative for nitrate.I am very concern because its Friday .Cant go to the doctor until Monday.I was waiting for this baby 8 years...

Hi I think you have got Urinary tract infection.(UTI)
I think you drink plenty of Burley water or Cranberry juice and take painkiller
eg Paracetamol 500mgm 2tabs three times daily. You should collect midstream
sample of urine in a sterile bottle. When you see your doctor give your urine
sample which your doctor will send to lab for culture and sensitivity. Your doctor
will start antibiotic and may change to appropriate one when the urine report comes. Kindest regards Df.S.K. Mukherjee
