General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Pain in the thigh and that sometimes goes to the leg looks like a pinched nerve. This is mostly in the backbone, but sometimes it may be pressed by muscles or soft tissues or masses.

I understand you should see your neurologist who would examine you and may order an MRI to confirm that. Management is initially with physiotherapy which work for most of people.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
