What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage Along With Mild Cough And Constipation?

My twelve year old daughter has had a dull pain on her right side under her rib cage for the last six days. Two doctors saw her, one said it was excessive acid, the other a muscle strain from coughing? She is not eating much, sleeping alot. Pain is made worse by standing straight & relived slightly when she lays on her tummy. Still has a mild cough, but no fever or vomiting. She diagnosed with hereditary spherocytosis last June & has suffered with constipation in the past. Last blood count showed her platelet count was 50, would this have anything to do with her symptoms? Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, hyperacidity could be the possible reason and it has to be given first priority, if I would be doctor of this case then I would treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 20 mg once in day, else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
