What Causes Pain At The Nexplanon Implantation Site?

I had the nexplanon implant put in on January 9th of this year. All the bruising is now gone and its healed up but I still have a terrible pain in my forearm of the same arm that it was put into. This pain was never there before the implant was put in and only started happening after the numbing medication wore off. I cant straighten my arm out, cant stretch it in any direction and I get a shooting pain when I try to move it in other certain directions. Is any of this normal or has anyone else had any problems with this kind of pain after having the nexplanon inserted?
