Hi, I am on my second pacemaker. I had first one implanted in 2005 and second in 2013. Several weeks ago I was having pain around my pacemaker and when laying down it looked like it was sticking out way further than normal. I went to the ER and they said it was fine and that I just had a big pocket and it was moving around. Hello,

Causes of pain around pacemaker implants may be due to local infection with axillary lymph node enlargement.

You may use warm and cold compression. use antibiotics and pain reliever medication.

If symptoms not improved please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
