General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Sherrie,

From what you describe, this seems like a case of post-micturition hypotension. It means that after you urinate, the decrease in the volume of you bladder causes your blood pressure to drop. This change is usually associated with dizziness, but since you are sitting, it may be that the hands and arms tingling is the only symptom that you see. This is very often the case especially with autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto and Lupus, which can damage blood vessels.
I would recommend you to start with a very simple method. Stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water and make sure to have a stable blood pressure.
If you don't get better, then you need to measure you blood sugar level. Diabetes is a very common cause of arms and hands tingling. Thus I recommend you to see a Endocrinologist.

I hope I have answered your question,
I wish you health,

Manoku Eni M.D.
