What Causes Pain And Tenderness In Neck And Head?
For the past 2 months or so, pain & tenderness in neck area below ear & on right side backside of neck.Also experiencing some pain odd feeling in head right side. There is also a somewhat small sponges type spot on skull that crackles when I touch it.Sound odd?Anything to be concerned about?

I really appreciate your concern the swelling that you have may not cause such symptoms but of course if this is going to form abscess then this could manifest such clinical symptoms, in my opinion clinical examination is the best option to rule out the possibility, better to wait for some time till then symptoms can be managed symptomatically, hope this information helps, take care.
