What Causes Pain And Swelling Of Penis?
My 22 month old has been crying for several days, and pulling at his pennis, when I put him in the bathtub. The shaft is very red and slightly swolen. I have been putting Vaseline on it, thinking that might help. He screams when I try to do this. His older brother has trouble too. I do not feel safe using the prescription cream his older brother uses. What is wrong and what should I do?

This suggests acute balanitis. Kindly take him to your doctor as this will need oral antibiotics. Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry, apply an OTC antibiotic cream and give Paracetamol for pain relief.
