General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It might be due to minor contusion or conditions like cervical spondylitis. As a first line management you can apply ice packs and take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedics and get an MRI neck done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
