What Causes Pain And Severe Burning Sensation In The Vagina?

Hello my wife has very severe burning sensation and pain in her vagina. she has been having this problem for a long time now she cant even have sex because it is extremely painful. She has had a hestroctomy before. she is 64 years old . She has tried every thing including 3 doctors but nothing is working. What can she do now?

Hi thanks for posting on hcm.
From your wife's age I suspect she might be suffering from dry vagina due to hormonal changes as she is in menopausal age and if she attained menopause then dry vagina is the most common cause. I recommend to use estrogen cream down below to prevent the dryness and to avoid the discomfort during intercourse you can try xylocaine gel.
