What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Elbow Joint?

I have had my right elbow joint pain and discomfort for months. As it started it was my right arm and if i had it hanging normal there were pulsing pains enough to where i put my arm in my pocket to alleviate it. Then it started to not straighten fully. At this time my elbow became stiff and does not extend fully. It also becomes painful and my elbow joint pops frequently. Now my left elbow has started with the same thing, minus the pulsing pain. I now can not straighten either elbow.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to contusion or due to conditions like tennis elbow. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
