What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Ankles?

So when I m walking my ankle doesn t feel attached to my leg and it s kinda hard to explain. My right ankle is the one that s bothering me and I sprained it about 2 years ago so would this have anything to do with that? Also after I run my ankle hurts really bad. It sorts feels like when I take a step and then lift my foot it s like my leg keeps going but my ankle feels like it s staying behind a bit. Please help me

Hi,

It may be due to minor contusion or sprain due to trivial trauma or excessive physical exhaustion.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. Apply ice packs also.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
