Hi, I am facing anal burn every time after a bowel movement. I am facing this issue for some months intermittently. Now i am again facing this pain and burn since last 1 week. While washing i even see some blood in anus. I consulted local doctor, he asked me to have styptovite-E and Calcium dobesilate tablets. He also gave Shield ointment. I am male 25 married. Please suggest me whether can i proceed with this or anything else. I have not yet started.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Most possibly related to anal fissure.

Salient guidelines to get rid of the same
- sitz bath
- dietary control to avoid spices
- avoid smoking
- laxative for getting soft stools
- good analgesic as Ibuprofen or else
- local application of ointment as Xylocaine or else for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
