What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation During Urination?

I am a man and I have suddenly developed pain and burning on urination, very frequent need to pee and now have scant show on blood in urine. We are travelling and have antibiotic Cipro. We are Canadian and currently in Utah. Should I take cipro and wait until I get home before seeing a doctor? Should I take something for pain relief?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cipro is not required. I think you are having UTI. So please take plenty of oral fluids and continue with antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
