What Causes Pain After Eating?

I AM HAVING PAIN HALF HOUR TO TWO AFTER EATING . ENDOSCOPY DONE BEFORE 1 YEAR .DOC SAYS MILD LOWER ESOPHYGATIS AND GASTRITIS. I HAVE TAKEN RABEPERAZOLE FOR 1 YEAR ,SUCRALFATE FOR TWO MONTHS .INITIALLY CONDITION IMPROVED. BUT HAVE PROBLEM AGAIN THOUGH MEDICINE CONTINUED

well,i m afraid that your doctor is not giving you the correct combination of medicines to cure your underlying disorder and moreover,giving rabeprazole for 1 long year does'nt make any sense and it might cause more harm than benefit to keep on giving rabeprazole without giving the other essential drugs to cure your disease....if i were your treating doctor,i would have advised you the following combination of drugs for 3 weeks as its the standard and clinically proven treatment for curing esophagitis along with gastritis--


(1) CAPSULE PANTAPRAZOLE once daily before breakfast,as soon as you get out of bed in the morning

(2) TABLET RANITIDINE 2 times a day after meals i.e 1 after breakfast and 1 after dinner

(3) TABLET DOMPERIDONE 10 mg 3 times a day after meals

(4) TABLET DICYCLOMINE 3 times a day after meals

(5) SYRUP DIOVOL-LA 4 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals

(6) SYRUP SUCRALFATE 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals

i would have also advised you to STRICTLY AVOID SPICY / PROCESSED FOODS / FRIED STUFF / SMOKING / ALCOHOL atleast till 3 weeks and if possible thereafter too
