What Causes Orange Fleshy Clumps In Stool?

Tonight I had several big pieces of Orange fleshy clumps in my stool. Looked like pieces of shredded grapefruit. Last time I ate grapefruit was three days ago maybe 4. Never have seen that before as I eat grapefruit quite frequently. Only thing I had today was biscuits gravy for breakfast. Cucumber for lunch. Honey bun later early evening

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Some green leafy vegetables can produce orange stools. However, if you have a doubt or any symptom, stool examination can be done [some parasites can also produce this]. Take healthy diet for a few days. Drink more water and do some sukshm yoga see if it goes away.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
