What Causes Numbness On The Roof Of The Mouth?

On tooth 5 had post put in for implant. When needle for numbing meds were injected in roof of mouth nose went numb and now 2 days later nose still hurts up to the eye and is runny. air feels different in that side as well. Can this be a punctured nasal cavity?

Thanks for the query..

The symptoms can be either be due to allergic reaction to the local anaesthesia or can be due to irritation to the nerve causing pain in nose and Drainage..
Do not worry as these kind of symptoms are temporary and will resolve soon..
It is not looking like punctured nasal cavity..

I would suggest you to do cool compresses over the nostrils and eye..
Do steam inhalation..

If there is some problem like increasing numbness or pain consult your Dentist and get evaluated..
