What Causes Numbness On The Left Lower Back Post Injury?
My husband just fell down ice steps - about 3-4 steps - landed on his left lower back more towards hip - he did get up by himself and got home - he said breath was knocked out of him and he felt the nausea wave and turned ghost white... just took advil - what to watch for? and he does have a high tolerance of pain - he says it feels numb where he hit and the whole left side hurts
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history you are having numness on the left lower back following a injury. These symptoms indicate injury to the nerves supplying that area. Hence this requires evaluation by X ray and CT scan to rule out any injury to the spinal cord. As of now he can take analgesic tablets for pain relief and he needs to consult doctor at the earliest for further evaluation and treatment.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly. Hope this answers your question. Do write back to me for further questions.
