What Causes Numbness On The Chin And Lips?

I have some numbness of my lower left face, chin and lip. Treated sore tooth with antibiotics. X-rays show nothing. Sent me to ER. No sign of stroke. Endo dentist can t find anything with xray, probing or electrical probe. Tooth already has crown and root canal. Been going on 10 days. Pain minimal now but numbness persists. Full muscle movement just numbness like following dental work.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be minor contusion or nerve compression in your jaw.

Generally, it will settle by itself soon.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
