General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.
I understand your concern.
Numbness of the toes generally is a result of conditions that affect the nerves and/or blood vessels that supply the foot.
Numbness of the toe can occur because of
-injury to the foot,
-nerve damage (neuropathy)
- poor circulation to the foot (such as with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease).
Some remedies at home are:
-Remove items to allow for better blood flow. -Massage the foot. Gently massaging the numb area of your foot can help increase circulation and make occasional numbness go away faster.
- Warm your feet with a heated blanket or heating pad.
If the numbness continue visit your local doctor for more examinations. Thanks!
