What Causes Numbness On Left Side Of Face While On Prednisone For Pinched Nerve?

I am taking a prednisone for a pinched nerve due to a displaced bone fracture in my baby toe. I felt a light numbness on the left side of my face, pretty much as the numbness I have in the affected toe area. It has subsided, but still the left side of my face feels heavier than the right side. Could there be a connection? or the side effect of the medication?

Numbness on the side of face is neitherdue to side effect of prednisolone nor there has any relation with injury of toe. IF i have to treat such a patient i will advice cap B complex three times a day
