If you are feeling numbness or stinging sense in your limbs, it can be an early sign of nerve damages, therefore early and effective treatment should be sought to prevent more serious consequences. You might be having Vein thrombosis, which indeed is a serious situation. Numbness means that the blood is not flowing properly in your limbs. Often the longest nerves are first affected such as the nerves on the legs, that is why your are feeling numbness in your legs. You need immediate medical attention.
